We are delighted to announce the award of our latest loan instrument to Merewyn Bramble, principal viola with Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. The instrument is our 1951 Smith viola.
Merewyn is a very experienced viola player, having played with the MCO since 2005, including as principal since 2012. She has also worked with Orchestra Victoria, the Adelaide, Queensland and Tasmanian Symphony orchestras, and a range of chamber music ensembles (including Quartz, Patronas Quartet, Australian Octet, Tailem Quartet, and others).
We look forward to hearing this lovely instrument played.

Our latest instrument for loan is a 1951 violin by Arthur Patton, from the A E Smith stable. It's another interesting piece of historic Australian lutherie. Contact us to try the fiddle. Click here for more information.
There are more instruments in the pipeline, coming soon.
